after 3 consultations, 1 CTG and 2 growth scans, mommy was released home to rest and will be going back again in a week's time.
here's baby G's current vital stats:
wt @ 2.128kg
hc @ 308mm
mommy's wt is currently at 61.9kg and there are still traces of glucose (double ++, means rather high) in her urinte test - hence she had to see her dietician in the afternoon for a quick follow up.
since mommy had a few bouts of stomach cramps last 2 weeks and wasn't sure if they were contractions or just braxton's hicks. hence the gynae suggested mommy had a short CTG monitoring to make sure everything is fine. during the CTG... mommy was straped with 2 monitoring device and linked to this machine.

and after half an hour, results showed no abnormality nor contractions, baby G's heart-beats are as strong as a galloping horse!

daddy joined mommy for the afternoon growth scan and as there was some difficulties in identifying the placenta position, mommy had to go through a v-scan after clearning her bladder. oh my, how painful! but at least the good news was that mommy's placenta is in the upper posterior - means it is way up and is good for natural delivery. however, after going through the pros & cons with daddy, it was decided to deliver baby G via c-sect. hence, we tentatively set a date but will decide on the timeslot (afternoon delivery) and preference for the delivery (either going GA or RA for this op)
mommy's glad that baby G has increased much wt and had turned his head downward. but this also makes it quite impossible to see his facial features during the growth scan; we can only make out his head/skull! well, we didn't manage to get any of baby G's images this time round but that just means we'll have to brace ourselves for a good surprise while we await his arrival to see his chubby little face! :D
