New Beginning, Same Old Habits

it's the start to the NEW School Calendar!

lil missy is in Kindergarten ONE already - whoo... how time flies!
she's in the afternoon session and since there are a few of her classmates from N2 and childcare are in the same class this year, i didn't quite bother taking half day off work just to see her attend her new day.

and boy oh boy, it was a mistake - coz even as she grew OLDER, she is still the TIMID little girl she was when she first joined childcare!

and i heard from her teacher at childcare that she is one and ONLY one that CRIED in the class when the new teacher came in and introduced herself and asked how the children are.

what can i say, it's part and parcel of her growing up phase.
and i won't say she will outgrow this little habit when she goes to primary one.
most probably she will still CRY on her first day there too, and that is 2 years down the road!

just gotta keep my fingers crossed that she will only TEAR and not CRY loudly.
how embarrasing will that be, just thinking about it.
