20mins is ALL i would pray ask for.
and it's even better if they do constructive activities during these QUIET times, such as... READING!

this girl loves her quiet time... err... more like 'READING ALOUD' time.... but i'm very OK with that. coz it shows that she loves READING!
and she can read it by herself too.... (mommy's SUPER DUPER Proud of ya!)
in case you're wondering, she's reading Eric Carle's book - Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you See?
i LONG for quiet times for myself too...
but for now, it's usually limited to about 5mins when i'm in the loo.
