for the love of the purple dinosaur...

chloe has been asking if we could go watch barney christmas surprise liveshow since she saw the tv advertisement few weeks ago - her wish was granted today as we happen to be heading down to KKH for gaby's orthopeadic check-up.

we were a little late when we got to United Square and there was already a snaking queue moving into the seating arena. we quickly headed down and join in and was lucky enough to make it in and was seated about 4th row from the back - the place was jam-packed on a friday afternoon show!

chloe enjoyed the show quite a bit as she was standing up and interacting with some dancing and gesturing all the way (luckily for her petite size, she was not blocking the other kids at the back!) while gaby's attention span was a little short - and he redirected his attention at me; asking to be carried, stood on my thighs, biting my hair (he has a fetish for my hair... O.o), asking for water/biscuit/toy, etc but he will stop and watch/dance when the theme song was performed. but overall, the kids had their share of fun and enjoyment during that 25mins performance and i'm even thankful that they didn't ask for any of the merchandize when we passed by that area. Phew! :)

waiting for the show to start... faking her 'look at the camera' smile... :)

the restless boy prior to the start of the show - he was probably overwhelmed by the crowd!

and here comes the star of the show - the kids all went screaming!!!

unbelievable... but he was acting as if he was in a rock concert, waving his hands up in the air when the theme song was performed! so adorable!

more dinosaurs join in the fun... BJ & Baby Bop (not sure if i named them correctly coz i'm not a fan)

almost towards the end of the show - chloe was not responding to HUMAN instructions anymore (asked her to look at the digicam and she completely IGNORE us!) while gaby was about to start nibbling at his shirt - he's a bit bored already. hahaha...

after a short tea-break, we all headed to KKH for gaby's consultation.
i was relieved after the senior consultant gave the green light and said everything was OK for gaby, he just needs a little bit more time and practice to make his walking/striding skill better.

and we also found out about the constant mid-nite cryings and complaints that chloe has been experiencing for the past couple of weeks about her legs - there really is such a thing called "growing pains". at least now we know how to help her ease her pain and not over-worry or frustrated about her mid-nite cryfest episodes anymore.

ah... parenthood - it really is a life long learning experience!
