here's her own version of the princess and the frog; word for word.
the princess sleep on the bed by herself, papa and mamii go work.
the frog come oredi, the frog sit on the window.
the princess scared (patting her chest).
the frog BITE the princess (cupping her nose/mouth) and the princess cry waaa waaa waaa
the papa and mamii no come; they go work.
the princess cry and cry, she scared the frog.
bad frog. i don't like frog.
mamii i want to sleep with you. i don't want to sleep myself
it was rather hilarious actually... coz i have not told her about the princess and frog fairy tale before. and as with all kids her age, they all have an image of a big MONSTER that they are afraid of and hers just happen to be a FROG. i really have no idea why her monster is a frog!
anyway, i told her not to be afraid and if the frog comes again, she can just pick up a broom and beat beat the frog. and the frog will run away and never come back (typical fairy tale ending, rite?
but i guess she wasn't convinced coz after that she took her pacifier and her beanie pillow and went to sleep; quietly. ahh... her pacy and the pillow - that's her "security blanket".
