i wan...

every nite when i reached home from work, my girl would greet me from her high chair with a loud : "mami, eat!"

and from the moment i sat down to have dinner with her, i will be constantly reminded of her many 'wants'...

at the dinner table:
i wan eat (eg. soup, chicken, green, fish, etc.)
i wan bad (read: bread)
i wan milo
i wan ki kit (read: biscuit)
i wan walk walk (when she's had her fill....)
i wan ah kul (read: yakult)
i wan zudzud (read: pacifier)
i wan pi-yo (read: pillow)

and when she's on the ground and i'm still having dinner:
i wan bao bao (read: want to carry)
i wan shid (read: sit on the chair)
i wan down (read: down with sitting on the chair)
i wan book
i wan dink a-ter (read: drink water)
i wan shi hi fi (read: see hi-5 vcd)
i wan zudzud (read: pacifier)
i wan pi-yo (read: pillow)

after shower and while getting ready for bed:
i wan way ma shel (read : wear her own PJs by herself)
i wan coom ma shel (read: comb her hair by herself)
i wan book
i wan zudzud (read: pacifier)
i wan pi-yo (read: pillow)
i wan mik (read : milk)
i wan mamiiiii

though listening to her 'wants' can be a bit irritating at times, especially after a long day's work and a hungry tummy waiting to be filled, i still cherish every moment of it - cause she will not be a 26months old toddler forever... when that happens, i'm sure i'll miss listening to her saying those words - in particular, her way of saying "i wan mamiiiii....." :)
