days of drool, itchy gums, fever and clingy babes

both my babies are teething... and each giving me different headaches.

the big baby - chloe
sprouting her cuspid the 2nd time round.
no wonder she had been super clingy and whiny and drama for the past 2 weeks... and was asking for her pacifier and beanie pillow ALL the time. only took out the pacifier when she's eating or bathing - the rest of the time, it's paci-chloe all the way!
this morning she had a fever of 38.5C. we were worried so quickly gave her some paracetamol to bring it down... and by the time we reached her CC, her temperature had gone down quite a bit. Phew! Hopefully her fever will subside as she continues her day at the CC.

the little baby - gaby
his gums are so itchy he's now biting everything he can grab hold of, even the tapered glass coffee table is not spared! he'll speed over in his walker and before you can say 'NO', he's gums are attached to the edge of the coffee table. argh!!

and my little drooling machine is now also a pooping machine... for the past 5 days he's been having watery stools at least 2-3 times a day/nite and oh my, how smelly they were! i know some babies will have bouts of watery poo during the teething stage but gaby's frequency is a little worrying.

we recently changed his milk powder from mamex gold to bellamy's step 2 organic milk to help regulate his constipation problem. now we tried reverting back to mamex gold but end up with him having bouts of watery poo... will have to monitor for a few more days before we can confirm if it was indeed due to the milk powder.

and to make it even more worrying (tiring and sleep-deprived for mommy), gaby had fever last night and woke up crying super loud several times. he pooped twice in his cot and was only willing to sleep in mommy's rocking arms. once mommy put him back into the cot, he'll wake up kicking both his legs in protest! in the end, mommy had to rock him till he snored (finally in deep sleep) then laid him next to mommy on the masterbed before all can have some peaceful rest.

mommy just wished that the tooth fairy can come quickly and get her job done ASAP - and grant ALL of us some restful and peaceful night very soon....
