no wonder she was super cranky and clingy to daddy & mommy the whole morning, kept whining to be carried. mommy suspect that it was due to her teething of her bottom left molar as mon cherie was drooling quite a bit and also kept biting the straw of her magmag cup the whole morning.
anyway, by mid morning she was clearly not feeling good and wanted to sleep. mommy added liquid paracetamol to mon cherie's milk feed and an hour later, her fever subsided to 38 deg C.
having fever but still actively enjoying flipping through her books with little bear bear.
mommy continued to monitor mon cherie's temperature in the afternoon and towards evening and it was hoovering around 38 deg C. and while mommy sponged mon cherie that evening, she saw tiny red dots emerging all over mon cherie's body, hands and feet (but not on her face) and recalled that when mon cherie was much younger, she had that same effect after a bout of fever attack, it was her 'post-fever' symptons.
it was a tough nite - mon cherie had a hard time sleeping and woke up quite a few times crying and wanting to be carried. it was heart-wrenching as she cried in her sleep and sweated badly... but all these meant that her fever is slowly but surely coming down.
hopefully by tomorrow, she will feel much better - if not, it will definitely be a trip down to the PD for a quick jab! mommy & daddy just can't bear to see her suffer like that...
get well soon my darling!!!
