aiyoh, wat a BIG bump!

mon cherie had a bad fall in childcare this morning while on her way to the assembly room - she was running after me in anger (coz i refused to carry her) and she stumbled and fell, hit her head on the hard tile flooring.

my poor baby.... :( her bruised bump is more visible from the sideview.

it took us almost 45mins coaxing her coz each time we tried to place the cold pack on her forehead and alternate with zambak ointment, she'd struggle with screams and big big tears.

my heart sank each time she screamed and sobbed so hard as if she was out of breath... it was really heart wrenching, even i had to try hard not to tear myself!!

lucky for me, mon cherie is a strong girl and she slowly warmed up to her cheerful self again when we went back for class. and she enjoyed coloring/scribbling with her classmates and some pre-N kiddos. when we left the center at 1230pm, she was all smiles and happy (read: eager) to bid her classmates and some pre-N kids goodbye and pulled mommy to the front gate.

mon cherie baby, mommy is super super sorry for NOT carrying you this morning which led to you chasing after mommy and ended up tripping over and hit your forehead... mommy WILL carry you the whole day tomorrow, okay? mommy *heart* you!
