update on baby G : wk38

went for my last check up this morning at the high risk clinic.
the snr consultant was in a cheerful mood - maybe coz we were the 1st patient of the day and he had another snr consultant in the room with him, chatting before we came in.

baby G is very well and kicking.
placenta is high up, amniotic fluid still sufficient.
and all we have to do is just wait for him to be ready to pop - or until we reach the planned c-sec date.

as for me, wt remained at 61.1kg and i'm tested -ve for both albumin and glucose. (wah... the day before my readings were erractic and this mrng, everything back to normal!)

since i'm already at wk38, i was asked to go for another CTG to check for signs of contractions.
after half an hour lying there with the detectors on, it was clear that nothing much is happening - and even the nurse commented that it was because baby G was sleeping. and she tried to wake him up a little. he stirred... but then, went back to sleep after shifting position. aiyoh... so tired at 930am in the morning meh? hee hee...

next up will be my pre-admission test this friday.
ooohhh... i'm getting more and more nervous now... esp when quite a few of the april 09 mommies in the SMH has delivered much much earlier than their due dates! :)

so whenever you are ready, gaby... okie?? :P
