or haywired feeding schedule??
really... i have no idea this time round.
i remember mon cherie was such a darling previously - she drank on the dot, every 3 hourly and at the amount she was suppose to drink. but for gaby, his feeding ranges from 1.5hr to 2hrly and sometimes he can sleep through 5hrs before waking up for his next feed (usually at night).
during the day, he will suckle at both my breast for at least half and hour, then will fuss and asking for more milk! hence we have to give him FM of at least 50~60ml to satisfy his hunger.
and less than 2 hour later, sometimes even 1.5 hour later, he will be tossing and turning and sticking out his tongue for MORE milk - otherwise, he just simply REFUSE to sleep!
i am just keeping my fingers crossed that he is experiencing his first growth spur!
for that, i'm willing to provide FM + EBM (since my supply is so little, it hardly can satisfy his ONE feeding! sigh....) each time he fuss.
but if it is just his feeding schedules gone wild.... then i will have a BIG headache once the CL goes off. so i'm really hoping it's the former!!

Kiros was like chloe. fed on dot. every 3 hourly, or at most 2.5 hour during his 1st month. CL insisted to wait and not jumble up the feed as otherwise it's really going to be big time headache later on for me when she left.
As for Kicia, she was a litle different. She can wail for milk as soon as 2 hour after her last feed. for that is the soonest we give her milk.
one thing to note is that for both of them, i used EBM or FM. I didn't latch them hence CL and myself will know and can manage their feeds.
what my CL told me is that anything after 1 month old we can be more assured and dont't have to really feed on the dot. can drag a bit. let them sleep if they want to sleep and dont wake them up for milk.
but since baby G is a boy, there may be no doubt that he wants to drink more.
