PDS Final Lesson

we're finally at the last lesson for this term, ie mini-bubbles for toddlers.
since we had prior appointment on Saturday (her usual playgroup/class), we went for make-up lesson on friday morning where mon cherie joined the caucasian todds' group.

there was outdoor play which mon cherie enjoyed quite a bit - plus the weather was just nice, a little bit warm but not too hot. only concern for mommy was the mozzies she saw in the doll-house! yikes!!! see her having 'serious' fun during outdoor play - not a single SMILE at all! (gah!)

today's final mystery vegetable is the corn and the kids got to enjoy quite a bit of pop-corn!

teacher chel : "Tadaaa..... it's Corn for you all today!!"

chloe: "yeee.... why so bushy one?? dun like corn... yeeee...."

mon cherie is at her gluttonous self again, by stuffing so much pop corn into her mouth but at the end, unable to finish most of them - had to coax her to spit them out as she would just keep them all in like a hamster! heee heee...

PopCorn!!! yeah... munch munch munch munch munch.....

and then it was time to get down to some serious arts and craft time

the materials to be used.

the reluctant toddler with her whiny tantrums...

after much coaxing, finally willing to 'look' at the yellow paint...

ok, now she's getting her fingers dirty.... most of the yellow paint on the plastic was done by daddy dearest...

and the final master piece - 99% thanks to daddy & mommy's effort *wink*

and after snack time, there were having a jolly noisy good time with the musical instruments - obviously the kids like the drums best and most would come up and crowd around the drums.

mon cherie seriously enjoying hitting the drum by herself...

little gal: "hello... can i share the drum with you?"

little boy to daddy: "uncle, can i play the drums with the girls??"

it was indeed good experience for mon cherie to have joined the playgroup - we are really happy that she has opened up quite a bit with her weekly attendance and hopefully this stepping stone is THE correct decision we made prior to enrolling her in the local CC come this June.
