a long & tiring sunday outing...

went for mon cherie's 2nd trial lesson at little neuro tree (LNT) today.
daddy sat in with mon cherie for the chinese language lesson - and it was also a little overshot as the lesson ended after 1.15hrs!

mon cherie was so glad when she (finally) saw mommy standing at the door at the end of the lesson, she kept waving and then walking briskly towards mommy... or rather, freedom to roam outside the confined classroom!! oh yes... after getting a hug from mommy, this little girl went straight for the lego set! hmmm...

next destination - IT Show @ suntec

obviously a bad choice as it was the last day (daddy wanted to grab the last minute bargain) and enroute to suntec convention hall (via citylink) was a nightmare in broad daylight! anyway, it took us almost half an hour from cityhall mrt to the mid-section of citylink (up the escalator where there are a few restuarants). we decided to make a short pit-stop for some refreshment at shudoku, a jap & fresh cafe.

this is the 'atas' ice-kacang... ala japanese style that we ordered.

yummm... the portion served was just nice for us to share and the ingredients were fresh and sweet! :)

and mon cherie with her many faces when she skipped her afternoon nap...

after getting ourselves re-charged, we headed to suntec where mommy & mon cherie went to the linen fair (mon cherie dozed off enroute) while daddy braved the crowd at the IT show to grab his stuffs! we met up again an hour later; all tired and hungry and headed over to marina square for dinner (since the food outlets at suntec were obviously jam-packed) and settled for Hans.

the funny thing about dinner was mon cherie - she was craving for adult food and the moment she saw her thermos and spoon (mommy prepared porridge for her), she shook her head and waived both arms vigoriously and PROTESTED!!!

it was a hilarious sight as she kept pointing to our food and we tried to con her a few times but each time she managed to turn her head away at the last minute when she saw her kiddy spoon instead! :)

daddy trying to con her....

obviously he failed miserably! :D
