ramblings about me & my lil beanie

lil beanie is fast approaching its 19th week now... this week alone, i seemed to have experienced more frequent kicks from lil beanie.

and strangely enough, lil beanie seems to remind me of its existence around late mornings (towards lunch hour) and evenings (dinner time??) and just before mon cherie's bedtime (between 830pm~9pm) i wonder... if lil beanie is reminding me to have proper meals (seem to skip breakfast quite a bit lately...) and at the same time, wants to participate in family time/bonding.

hb & i usually spend about 1-2hrs interacting with mon cherie before her bed time; either chatting, playing and just teasing/tickling her. i can feel lil beanie kicking during those moments as well... and will usually let mon cherie know that baby also wants to play. mon cherie seems to understand a little now, and she will automatically 'sayang' my bump when hb & i tell her to 'sayang' baby... :D i hope she will continue to feel the 'love' for her little sibling... and not the jealousy which i've heard so much about.

and i'm also thankful for my lil beanie's little reminders... as too often i get caught up in work/chloe/etc that i tend to overlook the fact that i'm currently Pregnant! despite feeling lethargic and heavy (feels like a hippo already...), i tend to do things the way i used to prior to this pregnancy.

i still hang the laundry (on bamboo poles) out the window, rigorously clean the house (mop the floor, wash toilet/bathroom, etc), change bedsheets/quilt cover by myself, carry chloe around and even running after the bus/train when rushing for time... but sometimes, these are just inevitable.... hb's helping out a little bit more now... which i AM thankful (despite him OPENLY reminding me to be grateful... grrr...)

well... i know all is still worth it, especially when we get to see our lil beanie again next week when we go for the detailed scanning...

oh baby, mommy just can't wait to see you again! :D
