Children's Day @ Jurong Bird Park - Part I

Happy Children's Day!

this is the 1st year for me to celebrate children's day.
since it is MY special day, mommy & daddy brought me to Jurong Bird Park (JBP) to celebrate as they know i'm quite fascinated by birds! (i see school of pigeons on a daily basis while enroute to my nanny's)

we reached JBP around 915am and there was already 2 long queues at the ticket office. lucky we have the corporate card pass which granted us instant access, otherwise it will probably take us another half hour to queue for tickets!

1st stop was to the Fuji Hawk Walk where there was a 10am show on Fuji World of Hawks. it was my 1st encounter of BIG birds at close range! i got so excited i kept babbling and making very high pitched voice till some uncles/aunties and those big kor kor & chay chay were turning their heads to look at me! my mommy was so embarrased she had to keep 'shh....-ing' me to stop being so vocal! :P

this is how serious i look when i'm fascinated by the big birdies...

next stop, Penguin Expedition to see penguin feeding... and what a crowd! the place is small and mommy had to stay at another corner with my pram while daddy carried me all the way to see one 'auntie' throwing dead fishes at the penguins... oh dear, what a disappointment... so within 5 mins, we're outta there!

one for the camera...

mommy: "hellooooOOOO..... the camera is HERE lah...."

next up, a leisurely stroll to the Pools Amphitheatre for the "Birds n Buddies' Show. by then i was getting a bit restless and wasn't in the mood to see those birds nor their buddies... instead, i craved for my biscuits, keep wanting to 'walkabout', push/pull my pram and play with 'ellie'...

here's me losing interest in the birdie show...

sorry, need to tilt your head to view! :D
