dinner at IMM

after sunset mass, mommy decided we should head to IMM for dinner and at the same time, to try to catch the 'hello kitty' event in the evening.

when we reach there, there were NO hello kitty & friends mascots going around making little kids happy... what we saw were a bunch of kids inside a 'confined' area doing some artwork, etc and then later on, they were treated to a 'Hello Kitty' movie screening...

wah... what a disappointment... mommy thought there would be a whole group of sanrio characters going around shaking hands with all the kids... maybe mommy expected too much?

anyway, we stayed a little while to let mon cherie have a feel of the 'hello kitty' movie... it got her attention in the beginning but... that only lasted for less than 10mins.

can you see the BIG hello kitty head on the screen...

and how engrossed she looked... :)

after that, daddy says he's HUNGRY so off we all went to find food... and it certainly is no easy task to find a good place for dinner especially after 8pm... the queue itself can be quite off-putting.

we finally managed to get a table at ichiban sushi - all thanks to mommy chopping the 'waiting area' seat and madly mixing up mon cherie's dinner in front of the manager. he then looked around and saw daddy carrying mon cherie outside and decided to let us have a bit of priority.

little miss cranky had her share of dinner - no pic as mommy busy feeding her... and after her dinner, a happy little mon cherie with her favourite playmate... daddy, of course! :)

daddy's meal... mommy's came a little late but not picture taken coz it was downed by famished mommy before the camera had a chance to take a look! :p

and keeping her occupied with the utensils while daddy & mommy had to rush their dinner...

exploring the little saucer and banging it on the table (yikes!! bad manners!!) and then throwing it on the floor... (double bad manners!!)

after getting our stomach filled and buying next day's breakfast; we headed home... as mon cherie had started to yawn... :) it was a short but fulfilling outing... just hope the next time, we dun have to always rush our dinner... not good for mommy's stomach too.
