This little guy has finally turned ONE today.
It has been a great journey for all of us - and thankful for the help we had in making sure he grows up healthy, happy and well-taken cared for during our absence (while at work/childcare).
Major achievements thus far:
* getting better at his pincer grip
* able to walk from one room to another; with and without shoes on
* waves goodbye, giving flying kisses (still no MUACKS sound yet)
* getting more vocal - will say "AH" continuously when he's excited about something. and have learnt to say "Ba" for everything that starts with B - eg. bus, bird, book, bear, ball. and of course, he knows his 'Mum Mum', 'Papa', 'Mama' and even 'chay chay' (jiejie).
* will up his hand cupping over his ears when we ask him to say "Hello"
* crawls only when he falls after walking quite a bit - until he finds a support to stand up and walk again.
* able to show his needs and wants - fighting with jiejie over lollipop/biscuits and getting mommy's attention ALL for himself.
* loves to turn wheels round and round and round
* likes to throw things from his high chair/table and when being carried and then look at that object - most probably getting a hang of what 'object permanence' is all about.
* likes to climb up the lower bed, the sofa and even the gate railings. and worst of all, he is totally gungho about jumping down/off from the sofa and even our master-bed!
* still puts anything and everything into his mouth... drools buckets too!
* last but not least... only has 6 teeth and still no signs of any new pearlies sprouting.
no vital stats yet as we have not brought him for his 12month assessment.
