mommy's ramblings

can't believe i'm already half way there... how time flies with this 2nd pregnancy!

sometimes i wish i had the best time management skill to accord part of my time for 'lil beanie, the same way i did with mon cherie when i was pregnant with her.

but now that i'm so occupied with mon cherie, i felt that i'm just not putting enough effort to make my 'lil beanie feel at 'womb' (read: home) - with the lack of interactions and bonding from me... and not to mention, his dad too is just as guilty this time round.

but we do try... poking/patting/rubbing (literally SAYANG-ing my buldging tummy) and talking to 'lil beanie when he's acting up in the middle of the night (read: kicking sprees yet again) while his hyperactive sister is comfortably hogging our bed and snoring away into lala-land at night.

i guess that is the only time both of us are able to do something TOGETHER with 'lil beanie. on week days, i'm so occupied with work that unless i kept getting 'lil beanie's signals (kicking sprees during makan time), i probably forgot i was pregnant! this is really bad... (read: feeling like a LOUSY mommy)

but now that my tummy is growing too big to be ignored (and my back and legs are so tired after a day at work), i'm taking things a little bit slow and seems like hb too is putting his foot down on the stuffs that i should STOP doing - being a mad weekend maid at home.

so this morning, while we were having a quick early breakfast before he zooms off for his ECA, he sternly reminded me umphteen times to NOT tire myself out by hanging the laundry out (i can't help myself if i see the SUN is out on weekends!!!) nor MOP the floor /SCRUB the bathroom/toilet tiles on all fours.

ahhh yes... today seems to be a day i should just do less housework - apart from taking care of mon cherie; cook our lunch (and wipe clean the bedrooms/living room furniture/kitchen/stove/tv cabinet, tsk... tsk... tsk...) and rest my legs up (yeah, right....)

so yes, dar... i will REST today and wait for you to get home and do all the mopping/scrubbing stuffs while i take my afternoon nap with mon cherie AND not forgetting, 'lil beanie. : )

PS: mon cherie is sooooooo..... cooperative today. she slept at 1030am and is still sleeping now! : )
